YOLANDA OLMOS
Group Leader
Yolanda graduated in Biology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She did her PhD in María Monsalve´s lab (Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares, CNIC, Madrid), studying the transcriptional regulation of antioxidant genes in the vasculature. She then moved to London (UK) where after a short stay at Imperial College London, she joined Jeremy Carlton´s lab (King´s College London and The Francis Crick Institute) for her postdoc. Her work in the Carlton lab was instrumental in discovering that ESCRT-III regulates mitotic nuclear envelope regeneration. In September 2019, Yolanda joined Universidad Complutense de Madrid to start her own line of research with a Ramón y Cajal fellowship.
